diaper type?

Question

My stash is currently full of pocket diapers and 1 funky fluff 3 in 1. I'm interested in getting some covers and FST so I can reuse the covers and not have to buy a bunch more. I only have 19 CD for my twins and each have their own stash. I wash them every 2 days. I'd like the option to clean every 3 days or enough to rotate my stash. I use disposables at night and when they are washing.  What do ya'll prefer?? Anything bad about covers except for the folding 😂

I love Funky Fluff! They make up nearly my whole stash! I personally do not like prefolds/flats and covers as for me, it's too much of a pain getting the fold right. Have you considered using fitteds? greenmountaindiapers.com has workhorse fitteds and although the are sized diapers vs OS, they are much cheaper than most other fitteds. Otherwie, if you are set on fst and covers, I personally would go with a good cover brand like Thirsties.

After cloth diapering for 4 years straight, 3 babies in a row...I prefer covers. You can most easily customize the absorbency with inserts, flats or flour sack towels, prefolds, etc. I prefer diapers that wrap around the baby with a cover over it because they are the most bulletproof. Our go-to is a prefold with a hemp insert laid in the middle and a fleece liner over the top, then wrap the prefold around the baby, Snappi, and add a Rumparooz cover. I have yet to have a leak that way. It doesn't last overnight for my toddlers, but during the day they all have worn this up to potty training with no issues.

Love our smart bottoms covers and thirsties covers!! FST from Walmart or Target. The Smart Bottoms wet bags are the best quality too!

okay I love Thirsty's I don't know why I think it's the cassette it just seems to really hold everything in I've only had two problems with them and it's my fault for not doing the prefold practically before I put the cover on I got all of my thirsty covers off eBay pre-owned

I just use gerber prefolds, they're affordable and effective. Only negative is when thy get super mobile folding is HARD, but doable. I'm learning to diaper my son as he crawls away 😂 covers are so nice! If they don't have poop on them i just wipe them with my cloth wipes so they essentially get a quick clean and hang them to dry and use them next go round. As far as cover brands I have imagine, thirsties, and woblybug, they all work great.
