IBS - Irritable Bowel Syndrome

I have been diagnosed with IBS - Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I have been impacted twinie the first time wasn't as bad but I had severe stomach pain when I walk or move in a certain way. But the second time it was much more worse. I had the same pains but just a lot worse. The doctor gave me some medication to help me use the restroom and it works I'm going to the bathroom and all and it made me have a lot of diarrhea. But I'm currently sore in my stomach from overusing the restroom also from when my belly was sore and sensitive from being impacted. So me and my boyfriend had sex a couple days later and it hurt my stomach and I tried it again the sex made me feel uncomfortable from the front way when he would hit it. Plus it's been three weeks since we've done it. Do you guys think I need to let the inside of my stomach heal ? And how long should this take? My anxiety has also gotten very bad since I've been diagnosed with IBS making me sad and depressed and upset that I can't have sex with my boyfriend at the moment. Any help and advice please .
