Razor burn?

so whenever i shave my legs my upper thighs get really red and full of bumps, it itches so badly. i put lotion on right after im done or ill get dry skin, any tips for getting rid of the itchiness of bumps?

Exfoliate first. Shave with the hair before you shave against it and always try to stretch the skin while shaving to get a closer shave. Use a spray or cream after your shower specifically for razor bumps (normally found at the store next to the shaving cream). Putting lotion on after shaving (if you didn't get a close enough shave) will cause friction and that leads to chafing. Try a gel shaving cream for sensitive skin as well.
