Peeling baby?

I have an 8 day old. she has very dry skin, she has since I gave birth to her. The Dr said it was due to me being 40+1 weeks with her.. any ideas on what I can do to stop the peeling? any product recommendations?

Normal, I used aquaphor on baby's feet because they had cracked skin as well as peeling

Mine was the same- born past 41 weeks. Don't worry about it- no need to treat it. It will go away soon.

It's very normal and like others said, you technically don't have to do anything. I used baby aveeno eczema cream and my daughters peeling completely went away in a day 😊

It's normal and you shouldn't put anything on it. it'll peel and reveal nice baby soft skin. my Dr always said, "if you were swimming for 9 months, you would peel too"

keep putting lotion on her threw the day. It should go go away over time. My daughter was born at 41 weeks and didn't have drybskin at all.

before you dry her off after her bath apply Johnson's baby oil gel shea and cocoa butter and I also love Aveeno baby eczema therapy lotion. My son has dry sensitive skin and that stuff helped him a lot.

My doctor advised Vaseline and it worked wonders! It took a week or so, but that was more effective for us!

It's totally normal - she's just had a 40w bath. 
She doesn't need anything but you can use lotion if you want to
