Infected or just new still?

Hi! I got my belly button pierced on Wednesday, and today is Sunday. So 4 days ago, it's still a little tender but today it's more sore then usual. And it's a little red too, Is this normal?
I'm cleaning it 3 times a day
In the morning with a sea salt soak, in the afternoon with dial soap in the shower and at night with a saline wash.

I've had my belly button periced for two years it took a full year for it to fully heal don't rush on changing it and make sure the jewelry you put in is supercial steel and clean it with bacterial spray and saline spray 3 times a day :) for awhile

It's still healing. It'll be red for a little while but it'll get better if you keep washing it properly!

Mine did that and my piercer continuously assured me it was fine. Warm saline spray from the first aid section of Walmart or other stores, and put it on your belly with a shot glass. That's all you have to do to clean it. If it gets any crusties, gently take a q-tip dipped in saline wash after you soak it and gently clean them off. That area is used extremely often everyday, so it takes 9-12 months to heal fully. If it hurts, maybe try titanium jewelry in a longer size from a piercing shop. You can also soak a paper towel in warm saline wash and hold it on your belly button as a hot compress.

I've never had my belly button pierced, but I have my rook pierced and when I first got it, it was totally fine for the first few days, then it hurt really bad for a few days after that. It wasn't infected, I think it's just trying to heal. Just make sure you keep it clean and try not to touch it too much

Don't clean it to much that causes irritation.! Just clean it when u shower n one other time with salt Water. That's wat I did when I got mine pierced.

my belly button took about a year to fully heal and for all redness to go away. mostly because I was a bank teller at the time and the counter always hit my piercing. It'll probably be red for a while longer. you just stabbed yourself in the stomach. Haha

Infected, have a piercer switch the jewelry out with a longer bar, and use salt and warm water solution (google the right ratio).
