Scared of first appointment

My first appointment is a week from today when I'll be 8.5 weeks. I've had light pink and brown spotting every few days since 4 weeks/ when I found out. I feel pregnant and pregnancy tests are still positive but I'm really worried my first appointment will show no heartbeat. Actually afraid even if there is a heartbeat since I lost my first baby at 13 weeks after an all clear 12 week scan with no reason whatsoever given after fetal tests came back completely normal and I was told my body didn't have any testable complications at all. Just feeling scared and wish I could stay positive. Right after my appointment I leave for a vacation at home where we want to tell all of our family but we'll see.
