How Can I Get My Boyfriend to Be More Dominant?

So before he and I got together I had been in two previous "relationships" where kink was a central thing. Especially during sex. Both men I had been with were super dominate.

I have become accustomed to being approached first. I like it when I have no control. I also enjoy consensual non-consent (yes it's a thing.)

I've explained this to him numerous times that I don't usually initiate sex. He understands, but then never tries. So it goes in a cycle where we will stop having sex for a week or two because neither of us try 😂😭.
