Sad news today

Today was my first doctors appointment and I am supposed to be 9 weeks pregnant. We did a transvaginal ultrasound and all we saw was a gestational sac that was measuring at 5 week 3 days. I have another ultrasound next week to see if its that I am just not as far along as I thought, otherwise it is that the embryo stopped developing and I will be miscarrying soon. We are assuming that it is a miscarriage because being 5 weeks pregnant doesn't match up with my pregnancy tests that I took 4 weeks ago. I just wanted to post to the group because I didn't know who else to tell.
