Lymphedema and the Summer Heat

I'm Makayla, 22, and I have neck lymphedema from surgery. This is the second summer with it, but this summer my city has dealt with heat waves and wildfire smoke like crazy. I ice my neck like my therapist says, use a netipot twice a day to clear out my always congested sinuses, and I try to stay in cooler places as much as possible to keep my neck from feeling tight.

Does anyone else have neck or face lymphedema, or lymphedema in general? How do you go about the summer??
