Male Figures...Are They Needed?
Talking to my dad just a little bit ago, he says I can’t teach my son to be a man. This was after discussing how my nine year old was afraid to go down a slide at the water park today. He claims he needs a male figure in his life. I don’t want my son to not be “manly” but I also don’t think I’m ready to have a man around. The ones where I live just prove themselves to be jerks. What do you think? Do little boys need male figures around to be “men”?
