Pregnancy and shingles

Hi just wanted some advice ......am 34 weeks pregnant and my mum has just broken out in shingles,her rash is all over and really painful...I just wondered if it's safe for me to be around her,iv had chickenpox before when I was a child so I don't know if am safe from shingles or if my baby is safe from it?i have a midwife appointment in a few days so will obviously ask her for advice just wanted to know if any one here has any advice for me until then....thanks
