Possible miscarriage

Last week I found out that I was pregnant with a second baby which was very unexpected as my daughter is just 9 months old but over the last week I began to get excited about her having a sibling. Last night I ended up in the er with severe pain in my left pelvic area the ultrasound showed two ovarian cysts. They didnt mention anything was wrong with the pregnancy. Today I followed up with my OB and they did another Ultrasound. She said at 5 weeks and an HCG level she should be able to see something inside the sack but she couldn't and that I was going to have a miscarraige. I have had no other symptoms. Has this happened to anyone else and the baby survived could it just be to early or is this most likely going to end in a miscarriage? 😢 any advice is appreciated
