Symptoms of UTI but negative urine test?

For the past three days I've had mild symptoms of a UTI... a little stinging when I urinate and that general uncomfortable urge to go a lot. I went to an urgent care and my Urine had a tiny bit of white blood cells but I tested negative for bacteria implying no infection 🤔 anyone have this issue? I've been taking cranberry pills and AZO relief pills which help but I can't seem to kick this thing completely!!

Happened to me this morning.  I still requested Antibiotics.

Well, my urine culture showed I have a full blown UTI so I guess the first test was just wrong!! Ugh!!

I have. They gave me antibiotics anyways just in case. I'd maybe go back soon or another place if it gets worse. For now just drink plenty of water.

Sometimes AZO can affect the readability of a simple dip test because of the dye in it. If they cultured your urine (the results should take a few days), that would show a positive result if you have one. 
One time I had a UTI, but because I was drinking so much water at the time, it diluted my test and it came back negative. I then had to wait until the next day to go back and retest. 
Ugh they are so frustrating and uncomfortable!! I hope you feel better soon!
