Transgender 4 year old

Let me start off by saying I have NO PROBLEM WITH TRANSGENDER individuals. If that's your way of life than rock on yo. BUT my brother in law and his wife are absolutely disgusting for how they treat their youngest boy. Since the day they found out they were having a baby they wanted a girl. Hoped for a girl. So when they found out it was a boy the gender disappointment was real. You would think they would get over it after a while but they didn't. They named their baby boy a girl name because "we wanted a girl". Since birth they dressed him in girl clothes. Pink, glitter, dresses, boots...pretty much everything. They have now come out to say that their child is transgender. I'm sorry but I'm livid. He never made that decision. He never had a say. They only say he is because it's all he's ever known. He was never given the option to explore the more masculine things in life. It makes me sick that they wanted a baby girl sooooo bad that they are forcing it on their son. I'm afraid of how this will psychologically mess him up. They openly admit they gave him his name and dress him this way because they wanted a girl so I'm not jumping to conclusions or acting crazy. I appalled by their actions but I'm completely at a loss. I try to speak my mind and they said I'm "prejudice" or "intolerant". No hunny I'm far from that. I just don't agree with this abuse.
