Safe to travel cross country with 3 and a half month old?

Question

Is it safe to travel cross country with 3 and a half month old? I live on the east coast and my brother in law is getting married on the west coast (husband's brother)
It will involve flying with a stop in the Midwest and then driving three hours in a rental car once we land
Is it safe to bring a 3 month old on flights like that? Without the second set of vaccines? Can they sit all day like that?
Has anyone done it? I'm dreading it. I'm dreading his sleep schedule getting all messed up, too, them having to return back home to work with it all messed up

I just flew from GA to CO for a week with my 4 month old (and 5 year old, and 3 year old, and husband) and it was fine! Baby girl slept on the plane the whole way there. The best tip I got before going was: if you're bringing the car seat, purchase a car seat bag to put it in (look on Amazon) and then stuff that bag to the gills! That bag flies free, and they don't check/care if it's loaded down. We put so much stuff in ours and it saved us from having to check another bag. (It's hard to tell from this picture, but the infant seat is in the black car seat bag, and this is all the extra stuff I had shoved in there. 👍)

I am taking my  aby out of country as soon as her passport arrives.  It completely do able.

I just flew from DC to California (and back) with my 3.5 month old. He did great, just make sure your LO is either feeding or sucking on a pacifier for the take off/landing. I would also suggest bringing something that doesn't make too much noise for a distraction. I travelled alone, so I tried to make sure the middle seat next to me was empty and that makes life much easier so your LO can have more room to jump or sit/lay down.

Done that without vaccs (only BCG and HepB), was very scared, but all went well. Got a lot of sanitizer with me and tried to be as close to fresh air as we could. The worst were taking off and landing. He screamed hell lot...

Just make sure you don't sacrifice his care in the process. If you need to make extra stops to change a diaper or feed then do so, even if it is inconvenient.  I took my daughter on a three hour flight to South korea at 4 months and about ten hours to Australia at 5 months so it can definitely be done. Most planes do have changing tables.
