🤦🏼‍♀️ I literally have to fight this kid to change his diaper And he does this. Any tips?

I gave my son a toy or the tube of butt paste to hold. I talked to him and told him what I was doing, "I'm going to wipe real quick and put your diaper on"' Before I put the diaper on, I would count to 3 and lift his legs up to put the diaper. And I would tell him, I have to secure the sides and we are almost done! 
 Before he was a year old he would lift his butt for me on 3, which is nice because at 19 months he sure is heavy! My MIL saw me change his diaper while visiting and she said "why didn't you tell me he lifts his own butt! It makes changing him easier!" 
After diaper is secure, tell him that he needs pants or lets secure the snap buttons on your onesie. Once he is all done, say all done! Good job! Doing this helped a lot closer to a year because,  they tend to grab poop or spread it like wildfire.

Did not matter what I did or didn't do, my boy has fought me on diaper changes since the beginning.
There is no way I can hold him down with my arms, so I change him on the floor and use my legs to hold him down.

I had the same problem. My son is now 20 months and only does it occasionally still. He will grow out of it. I just held him down.

Every damn time I change his diaper....
 so I tell him (pee only) we are gonna count to 10 and be finished. Please give mommy 10. I also give him a toy or tv remote to play with especially during poops to keep him focused on something else. 
He likes the 10 count and I ask him to help me by putting his legs high in the sky so I can scoot diaper under and then to put his legs down after I clean him so I can shut the diaper.

How old is he? Mine started doing that around 15 months and I potty trained him at 16 months, 20 months now and went across country in the same undies and never wets the bed

I thought my baby was the only one! We have to find a new thing for her to hold to amuse her or its game over lol we have given her everything from her shoe to my comb. It's exhausting!

I usually give him something to hold and count for him or sing his ABCs lol ( I sing the stupid alphabet 372563930 times a day for him anyways what's 1 more gonna do lol 😂)  and then yeah he'll usually just hold his own legs if he has poop lol

Lmao good luck! I was stuck battling mine until he was a size 4 and could fit in the huggie slip-on diapers.

I always give my daughter something to hold, she demands it;-) and if she starts rolling, I roll her back and I always win lol
