I'm just a bit confused because of something my husband mentioned. My daughter is currently in a rear facing carseat with a weight limit of 30 lbs and 30 inches, she is 17 months old and within those limits. My husband thinks she needs a new carseat due to her legs going out so far. I thought she was fine until he made a comment saying that if we were to get in an accident, she would get hurt due to her legs being against the back of the seat when in the car. Now I'm worrying and a bit confused as to what to do. Husband is convinced we need a new one, and if that's the case I'm not sure if we should do a rear or front facing, though I know it is recommended to keep little ones in rear facing until they are at least 2 years old.
