What goes first?

God is always first.  Husband is always second.  Kids will be third.  Family is fourth.  Everything else after that.  My husband is my best friend.  The only way to make our marriage continue to work is to put each other and our relationship first.  Obviously, sometimes our kids will need to take priority but we will ultimately come back to each other.  Regular date nights and time together is a must!

My fiancé is moving towards coming first for me. Once were married then he will be my number one priority until we have kids and then they come first. My family will come after my husband and children because my husband and kids will be my family- they're the ones I've made vows too and brought into the world to raise and care for. 
School and work are the same thing for me currently while I do my residency and then it'll just be school. That doesn't come before my fiancé, but my fiancé has understood for our whole relationship that in order for me to be happy I need to achieve my dreams career wise. He puts me first so when I need to do something that's not great for our relationship (like moving for vet school or an internship or even my residency- we were LDR for four years of our 5 year relationship) he wants me to do it. So that's a bit more complicated. People in my life will come before my work, but my work is sometimes something that does come first. My fiancé and I believe that allowing each other to put our work first on occasion is allowing the other person to come first if that makes sense.

Results here are going to vary wildly. I saw a 14 year old refer to her boyfriend as her "partner". In no way shape or form should a boyfriend at that age become more important than school or family haha.

1st. FAMILY will always be there for me. They've always guided my way through life and they've always put me first so obviously.
2nd. School/Work because having a higher for of education has always been a major priority to me. In order to have my dream CAREER I need my education. (Note that having a job and having a career are two different things)
3rd. Partner. Yes, if I'm in a serious and committed relationship, they are important to me but they'd never be as important as my family and education.
