Advice please

Hi everyone! So I'm needing a little advice and guidance on this. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for over two years. We were successful February of 2016 but lost the baby in April a week after our first dr. appointment.

We recently found out my husband has two varicoceles, one on both sides. He goes in for a consultation next Thursday for surgery to repair them.

My question is has anyone experienced? What should I expect? How long does it take till he is back to "normal" where we can start trying again?

Any advice or encouragement is appreciated. Thanks!
