What are your must haves for newborns??

Okay mamas so I'm overwhelmed as to everything I need for my LO so what are some things that you guys couldn't kive without for your little one?!

A boppy pillow, rock and play, a swaddle sack (I'm not sure if that's actually what it's called), Moby wrap, gripe water, desitin, soothie pacifiers, white noise machine, a good chair to rock/nurse in... Those are the things that helped me copious amounts. Also premade meals and coffee, because you aren't going to want to cook and are going to be tired.

SwaddleMe Velcro swaddles! We absolutely love them! We bought like 10 of them off Amazon in different styles and sizes. 
Diaper bag backpack is another thing I've loved having. I also have a tote bag but it's so much harder to get to what I need. The backpack we have is Hap Tim off amazon.

If you're nursing, NIPPLE CREAM!!! Use it from the beginning so you never "need" it. :)

Our rock n play was my savior! One of my favorite purchases. Swaddle me's were used alll the time as a newborn. Halo sleep sacks are nice. Gripe water is a go to. Nobody says a thermometer, I think a really good one is a Kinsa. I have a kinda smart thermometer the one that plugs in to my phone, and it's really handy and has been used plenty. Burp rags. Breast pump if bf.

What the previous poster said Exept the Moby wrap we used a regular baby backpack type carrier. And a breast pump Anda stash of frozen breast milk. Surprising how fast my stash was gone. If you plan on nursing.

miracle blanket, swing, breast pump (even just handheld to get rid of engorgement), suckies, sleepers (zip up), sleep gowns for baby (easy access to diaper). This is my fourth, and I realize how unnecessary most things are.

So I'm going to mention some things that I used postpartum first then some baby things. 
For mama
-nursing pads
-tucks pads (if vaginal birth)
-large maxipads
-nursing tanks or shirts
-comfy pants
-app to help track feedings (if nursing. Glow is helpful)
For baby
-onesies with snaps instead of pullover style
-zutano booties. So specific but these saved me. They snap and never fall off. So much nicer than socks 
-bassinet
-halo sleepsacks with the swaddle. They zip up then have two flaps that wrap and Velcro to safety swaddle
-swing, bouncer, etc to set baby in
-muslin blankets
-baby bath or support 
-carrier
I breastfed my baby and still do. I know so many people swear by their boppy pillow but I didn't like it at all. Also pacifiers were super difficult for us. My baby never sucked on them and still does not. So I try to avoid mentioning things like this that may work for some people but not others.

For sure a rock n play, white noise machine (we downloaded an app on our iPad) boppy pillow, rocking chair/glider, muslin swaddle blankets, lavender night time baby wash and lotion, baby monitors, swing
Some other things to have on hand just in case are Aveno night Time eczema cream (we used when he would break out in a heat rash or any skin irritation on his face) a bottle of gripe water and Mylecon or any generic infant gas drop brand just in case your little one gets fussy with gas, any other baby medicine like Tylenol, baby Vicks, baby Ibuprofen etc. There's nothing worse than having a screaming baby that's inconsolable in the early mornings and you having to find A store open to purchase one of the items listed above.  
Some things I didn't find helpful were a over the shoulder diaper bag, wipe warmer, bottle warmer, diaper genie, fancy outfits like overalls
