carying a child for the partner of my gay ex-father-in-law

Olivia

Let me start by saying that my ex-father-in-law is more a father to me than my own and I love him dearly

Part 1: The partner of my ex-father-in-law wants a biological child, but they are not financially able to have a traditional surrogate and so they've asked me instead. And I have agreed.

part2: my family and ex-husband are against me doing this.. the ex-husband because he sees it as too close to incest among other reasons. and my family is against it for what I believe to be.... more selfish reasons.... of them claiming their pain at having a family member "taken from them. knowing that there is a biologigal piece of me and our family that they don't get for themselves. also because it is a gay couple that i do things for... and to them a child shouldn't have 2 of one parent...

however I see it as giving a person longing to become a parent

and would otherwise not know that love and happiness

the chance to have what many others take for granted.

now.. I would like to ask you ladies.... your thoughts and which answer you would have given if you were living my life and had such a request from a loved one....

and also would your answer be different if it were a stranger rather than your ex-in-law? ... if so WHY?
