Large grade 3 varicocele

We saw the fertility urologist and he confirmed what I figured. After two bad semen analysis and trying for about a year we have a answer! Large left side grade three varicocele even visible with the naked eye. Count was

14 mill, 11% motility and morph of 0%. I was told by the doc many men have 0 morph and it's dismissal. He literally put a big x on the semen analysis paper. He cares about the amount of them and their motility. I guess motility is very hindered with a varicocele, he wants it to be 50%. My husbands left ball is even smaller and softer due to it. So we will get surgery done this fall. Also did a ton of bloodwork and may even boost him with clomid. We were told that about 70% of men see a increase in parameters after the surgery. And pregnany rates increase by 40%. He's confident that we can really improve my husband as more than likely he has had this since puberty- hubby said he always felt a lump there. This doc is well known and I'm happy we finally saw him
