Husband with PTSD

Sarrah

So my husband has two combat tours under his belt plus a sea deployment in his 8 year career. We have an almost 3yr old. We have been TTC #2 for a solid 9 months now and it recently occurred to me that the insane amount of medication that the VA has him on was not an issue when we conceived our daughter. He's on meds for anger, ptsd, depression, anxiety, acid reflux, insomnia, allergy, and an anti psychotic.

Do any of you have any similar stories? We're you able to have more children naturally (no IVF)? Did he have to get off his meds? I'm terrified to have him off his meds for however long it would take to get pregnant. I'm on bipolar meds and I can't imagine myself not on my meds. I'd be divorced before we could break the bed.... I have been to the fertility specialist who had me to an Hsg (the balloon thing) and they said all was fine. So I'm just looking for some encouragement

I once dated someone who had PTSD. You are amazingly strong to stay.... my only advice is to do what will keep you safe and safe

We are TTC. I was taken off my meds(they stopped working) a year before we TTC and my ptsd and bi polar got so bad it was uncontrollable but we found a no med treatment (service dog) and so far he's worked as a form of treatment and now I just need to eat healthy and lose some weight
