How can I wash out new permanent hair dye?

So I picked up a new hair color at the hair salon and it totally lied in advertising. The color it shown online and in the store was a light copper brown and when I used it on my hair which is the same color (bought for touch ups) it turned my hair super dark brown almost black! It's terrible and I fee like crying. Anyone know how to safely strip away the hair color without damaging it. I just hate how dark it is!

you can color oops it. only buy the color oops brand tho. it will strip the dye right out of your hair without harsh chemicals or bleach. other brands have bleach in it this is why I say only use the color oops brand. I've been using it for years without damaging my hair.

Baby shampoo and dawn dish soap will fade it a little bit aftermultiple uses. But its always better to just go to a salon. Everyone has differant undertones so the color doesnt loom like the box. In a salon they mix specifically for your hair.

Don't worry it will lighten with a few washes! Use a clarifying shampoo to speed the process up. Also it isn't false advertising, everyone's hair is different and reacts differently so will always come out different x

Unfortunately there isn't really a way, just gotta let it fade/grow out on its own - unless you'd be willing to spend money at the salon to have it fixed. Sorry girl :(
