Ladies with migraines and Medicaid

So I live in California and I have medical. I get migraines often and badly. I also have a 2 yr old so I can't afford to just sleep off a migraine for 3 days. I'm currently taking fiorinal but the dr didn't authorize my refill. I have an appointment tomorrow so I'm hoping it gets fixed but I'm wondering what other ladies have taken or done to help with their migraines that is covered by Medicaid. I have tried sumatriptan before but they only give me 9 and my insurance makes me wait awhile before I can refill it
