Rant. Stressed. Need help

I'm super stressed. I just came home yesterday from visiting my dad all summer. I never told anyone that I came home yet and I have to go to volleyball practice today. My period was supposed to start yesterday and it still hasn't. I know I shouldn't worry about it but I don't want it to start in the middle of practice. I can't use tampons either. (Mom way to worried about TSS). But I don't wanna wear a pad if I don't need to. Since I'm only 14 I can't go buy some pantyliners and I'm home alone so my parents can't take me. Sorry. Just needed to rant.
