Is anyone a tiny house fan?

I LOVE tiny houses, but my husband isn't really into them.
.
I finally designed one that my husband actually likes! It's in one/two of those 20' shipping container. I'm just really proud of this and wanted to show it off. The left half can be an original studio and the second is added on bedrooms once we have a kid (and I could always add on another other one one for more bedrooms.

I used to like the idea of them. Until I moved to San Francisco where everything is like a cramped, tiny home. We went from a 1500 square foot apartment to a 800 square foot when we moved there. We got rid of so much of our things before moving and it still felt cluttered all the time regardless how much I cleaned and organized. 
You have to be an amazing organizer and true minimalist to live "comfortably" in one. 
I'm back in Texas now in a 2000 sqft house and looooove it. Haha

We are currently in a 3bed house and it feels massive to me. 
The 3rd bedroom is completely empty. I don't even have enough stuff to put in it. Like what do I do with the extra space?

I'm conflicted on it because I feel like it's a slap in the face to people who had to grow up confined due to lack of money.., however, I appreciate the good it does for the environment. I'll keep my goals set on a McMansion though 🤷🏼‍♀️

YES. I just got a great job where I get to help people design their kitchens, bathrooms and entire house (if asked). And to learn the design program, my boss is allowing me to design whatever I want. 
First I designed my parents dream home, and I'm currently working on designing my tiny dream house. 20 feet by 20 feet! Super excited. 
I love your design too! Is that one you've designed to accommodate road regulations so that you can put it on wheels??

You have to be a true minimalist to live that way. I like smaller living, but anything under 600sqft with a family is really tight.
