Fertility and tired. Just want a positive

We did a first month of clomid this month for our second baby.

I finally got a positive ovulation, had intercourse at the correct time. Took a pregnancy test thought I saw a faint line, took a digital test it said not pregnant, started brown spotting when I wipe after the bathroom this morning: I am 10 days dpo: contacted my fertility doctor she told me to do a serum pregnancy test and it was negative. Then they call back and say it was done too soon and could be a false negative. I am just confused And heartbroken.

I don't want to keep taking pregnancy test but I can't feel like I can give up hope. But I mean the blood was negative so that's it chances are up.
