paragard IUD removed

Hi I'm a little nervous here, I had a paragard IUD when my twins were nine months and they are nine years old now. So when I removed my IUD last month I had a bacterial infection which she prescribed me antibiotics then I ended up with a yeast infection ☹️. I'm now clear but I'm late on my period 2 day and I know I'm not pregnant because we didn't have sex. I'm a little concerned I really wanted to get pregnant in October and I been reading online and some people didn't get their periods for months. Has anyone experience that? Please help
