How long do I keep it in?

So the hubby and I are TTC, and my fertile window ends in 6 days. Should we try on the highest percentage day, or all days? How long do I keep his cum inside, I know this may seem like a stupid question but I really am curious 😂 I don't want to keep it in too long and cause an infection or anything like that.

You don't have to "keep it in." Sperm, which is what fertilizes your eggs, is a cell. It's miniscule. You don't see it. It swims once it's in your vagina. Keeping the semen in doesn't mean anything. It's really just a vehicle to get the sperm to the vagina.

Congratulations! TTC can be really fun but super confusing! 
1. Have sex every other day in your fertile window. That allow for enough sperm build up in between sessions and gives you the best chance of conception. 
2. Some people feel better about "keeping it inside" for 20 minutes after they have sex, but there's no evidence to back up that actually works. You should pee after every BD session to avoid infection, but although it hasn't been proven, laying with your legs up in the air for 10-20 minutes won't do any harm. 
Also, make sure you are using ovulation tests at home to time it right. The app can only do so much/be so accurate.

We did it every other night last month and I just found out I'm pregnant. I would lay flat (or with a pillow under me) for at least 15 min after
