I had frequent (but irregular) Braxton Hicks all evening and woke up still having them. Happened with both pregnancies, so I was pretty calm and called my midwife who just had me come in for a check... I was 5 cm! Was NOT expecting that! I stuck around for a few hours so she could see if I was progressing and I didn't, so I'm now on strict bedrest. I'm surprised (although glad) I'm not at the hospital right now. My daughter was born at 36 weeks and I was only dilated to a 2 the day before she came.

Anyone else been dilated this far and held on for a few weeks? Really want to at least make it another 3!
