Chances of bleeding out ?

So I went into labor 6 weeks ago and I'm anemic, after everything was said and done my hemoglobin count was at 6 and normal is 12-14, what are the chances if I have another kid of me bleeding out, I had to get 2 blood transfusions after my beautiful baby girl and I want a boy. Does anyone else have a similar thing happen to them ?

I had the exact same thing to happen to me. I was in the hospital for 5 days and had 3 iron transfusions and one blood transfusion and still didn't have enough blood. They sent home home though because I looked a lot better than the first day. I am pregnant again after just having an 8 1/2 month old. I will be asking my Dr what I can to do keep my blood levels higher so this doesn't happen again! But as long as you keep eating things that have a lot of iron and drinking water with them, you should be just find when you deliver. I would definitely talk to your Dr.

iron supplements...ive had two kids (last one has horrible bleeding) and I seen a new Doc Tues  (26weeks prego)..he mentioned taking iron cuz your blood supply slows (or something along those lines he was hard to understand) and it will help with delivery
