I think someone got bored...  lol though I do believe in some superstitions like the cardinal is an angel telling you they are there. I always see red cardinals and everytime I'll say "I see you mawmaw I'm okay..little bored (or whatever I feel at that exact moment) but I'm good." the bird stays there till I walk in the house then flies off.
