I'm 14, the boy I'm talking to is 16. He told his mom and other people about us and everyone he told says it's not going to last and is a bad idea. I haven't told my mom, but she has told me in the past as long as I'm not dating someone more than two grades ahead of me it's fine. He was at first worried about the age difference especially once he turns 18, but if we are having sex by then it's actually legal in my state. I really like this kid, he's sweet and doesn't seem like he'll take advantage of me but I've never actually been in a relationship. You can also take into account that I'm just now starting high school when he's been in it for two years already and he goes to a different school. Thoughts? Judgments? Advice?...
