Real milk..?

At my baby's 9 month check up, her ped said she can start drinking real milk at 12 months, but he personally doesn't recommend it. He told us that those who do drink milk, have more allergies than those who don't. Like seasonal allergies. We can give her milk if we want, but he wouldn't let his kids drink it. And he said, "I'll let them have cheese or a bit of ice cream if they want, I'm not a nazi." Which I think was a poor choice of words considering all that's happened in Charlottesville. I know it was a joke, but the timing wasn't that great.

ANYWAYYYY, I was getting off topic, but are you mommas going to be giving your munchkins cow milk when they turn one?
