Less symptoms mean it's a boy?

I'm sure you've heard the old wives tale stating that if your first trimester is pretty smooth sailing, that you're having a boy. The opposite is said for having a girl. What do ya'll ladies think? Have you found that thIs tale pretty accurate?

Totally true for me. So sick with my girl, acne, the works. Pregnant now with a boy and my only symptoms are fatigue and hunger.

My boy was super easy, barely any nausea....I'm pregnant now and am SO SICK starting at 5 weeks.  I guess we'll find out if it's a girl when we do genetic testing!

Hahaha we are having a boy and I puked up until 22 weeks and was hospitalized like 3 times when I couldn't keep down water.... sooooo no!

I have a boy and had Hyperesmesis Gravidarum. All day morning sickness where you can barely eat anything the whole pregnancy. I lost 50 pounds during pregnancy. My symptoms were horrible, so no it isn't always true. Now the one about a basketball shaped belly being a boy and a watermelon shaped belly a girl that one I believe because my belly was perfectly rounded like a basketball and I was carrying quite low.
