Going back to work: any advice? I'm dying on the inside!
My little guy was born in February and I took 12 weeks off. I am a teacher, so at the end of May I went back to school for 10 days - just enough time to send my 8th graders off to high school - while my husband took off to stay home with our son and for some male bonding. Then summer came and I have been fortunate enough to spend a whole 6 months with my first little love. I have to go back to school on Monday, and I feel like I am on the brink of an emotional breakdown. He's going to daycare (one I previously worked at) three days a week, and will be at home with my mom the other two days. I know I have been extremely fortunate at how all of this worked out, and he will be in good hands, but I'm still not looking forward to this. Any advice to get me through? What did you do?
