Implantation bleeding or period?
I know: "take a test". I will. Can't right now.
I know: "see a doctor, we're not doctors"
If you have any ACTUAL advice, I'd love to hear it. If you're just going to be an ass, just please don't.
So, I miscarried earlier this year and it was quite a traumatic experience due to everything involving the pregnancy and loss. My period has been very regular since. I was supposed to start my period this coming Sunday but last night I started bleeding in the middle of the night.
I chalked it up to forgetting my pill so close to my period so I just started early. I didn't want to get off track with my pills, so I went ahead and took it around 6pm (when I realized I had forgotten it).
It's now midnight and I just have brown discharge like old blood...
Is it possible that my period stopped because I took the birth control pill or could this possibly be implantation bleeding that occurred? I realized the other day (when I started noticing some symptoms I had with my first pregnancy) that my husband and I have been active during my fertile window and I've been in antibiotics. Mind you, my doctor and the pharmacist said the antibiotics wouldn't affect my birth control.
I'm just curious if anyone thinks me taking my birth control 6 hours ago could actually stop my period...
Please be kind ladies. I'm an educated woman but sometimes we need reassurance or advice/opinions. The loss I've encountered was very hard and mentally I'm still working on "getting over it". I'm seeing a therapist for the depression I've gotten from everything I went through, and honestly I just don't know that I can emotionally handle it right now.
**my period always starts 5 days before my sugar pill. So the pill I took today was the hormone pill, not a sugar pill.
