What should companies do? (Read description, question at bottom)

So yesterday on Twitter a woman posted this picture and it got mannyyy different responses.

After getting many retweets the company responded and said that that specific cashier asked not to serve alcohol due to his religion. In order to accommodate him they put up the sign so customers would know before they got to his register.

However, many people were upset and they argued that if he didn't want to sell alcohol regardless of the reason, he shouldn't have applied for a store that doesn't sells alcohol.

On the flipside, other people have argued that with multiple cashiers ONE not selling alcohol isn't a huge inconvenience and it is a companies obligation to accommodate the religious needs of their employees.

Here are some quick tweets:

What do y'all think?

A. a company SHOULD change things if they can in order to accommodate their employees religious needs

OR

B. a company SHOULDN'T have to change things because people should seek a job that already does accommodate their religious needs
