Unexpected advice!!! weed and pregnancy!?

I have really bad nasuea I've tried medicine and different things, and I was recently told to smoke some weed? is this even safe for the baby I'm 2 months along, I've never heard of this. suggestions or advice anyone?

I wouldn't.  they don't have enough research to show ingesting marijuana is safe for baby.  I would look for other ways to help with the nausea. hope u feel better soon.

Ladies I had the worst nausea and vomits up until 10 weeks. Please just tough it out with things other than drugs. Everything you take into your until 12 weeks affects your baby. If you take care of yourself naturally you reduce the risks of birth defects to your baby. All doctors and midwifes will tell you this. I swear to God after you get through the first trimester you will feel great again.

I did but I'm not gonna tell you to. My baby is perfect and I quit smoking a while back but it did help with nausea and being able to actually eat something and keep it down in the first trimester.

I've been a long time smoker 10 years and I've stopped completely but it's been really hard. I've wanted to smoke so bad bc I'm exhausted from being sick and not sleeping from being up all the time. My prenatals make me sick. I know people who smoke and everything was fine with their babies. I'm just torn.

It's ultimately your choice, but I wouldn't recommend it. I quit smoking as soon as I found out about my pregnancy, but it stays in your system for a while so I tested positive for it the first time I went to the doctor. My doctor explained to me that there just isn't a lot of research on how it can potentially impact your baby. Just keep toughing it out and it will get easier!

10 years ago a lady at work said she was told it was ok to smoke weed while pregnant. So she did. Her son has autism. I don't know if they're related, I've never heard of a similar situation. But I'm also not seeking out that info. But that is enough of a reason in my eyes. I've never done it and never would anyway, but just my two cents.
