Ladies share your stories!! Made the first move, kinda embarrassed.

Okay so I've never made the first move to show interest in a guy or ask a guy out. I'm 22 & I'm usually approached or conversed with first. I randomly got the balls to message this guy on instagram & show my interest. He's an artist who is very passionate about his work and people who know him say he's a really good guy.... its been over a day with no reply & he's been online since. I get rejection happens to all of us but how do you shake the feeling off and get over it? 😭😂😂

Any girls ever make the first move and it work out or was it a complete fail??
