Ultrasound after anatomy scan?

Hey ladies, I am 35 weeks today and wondering if it's common practice (in USA) to have another ultrasound before birth? My last was 21 weeks for anatomy. How can they know that everything is going well and she's growing ok! Maybe I am paranoid haha.
How many ultrasounds have you had?

There isn't typically another one after the anatomy scan, unless baby is breech, measuring ahead or behind, or any other medical concern that your doctor thinks warrants another ultrasound. 
I had a few in late pregnancy because my son was breech and measuring small. They're pretty much too big to really see anything by that point, and definitely wasn't as fun as the anatomy scan!

I think you only get a dating scan and an anatomy scan in the US for a healthy pregnancy. Some people get an elective 3D one later. If you have GD, are high-risk, or have other health problems they'll give you other ones later on in your pregnancy. I lived in Spain for the first 5 months of my pregnancy and they do one at every appointment there, that's even how they confirmed I was pregnant in the first place. I miss that!

I was told I don't get another one unless I'm measuring big or small, or they have medical concerns. I was really hoping for a growth scan before giving birth 😩

I was told I don't get another one until 38 weeks to check her size and position. Last one was at 20 weeks. I've had two elective ultrasounds at an independent center though. I am a very low risk pregnancy.
