so I started back on birth control after being off of it for 2 years back in February. I was on the nuvaring for a few years and it worked really well for me. when I stopped the bc I lost a lot of weight which, I'm already skinny so I didn't want that. Well in April I had a long period, about 20 sum days. then I had a few months of just spotting here and there no big deal. now this month I'm on day 24 of a long period AGAIN. it's super light so it's not horrible but what the hell! I have to add that instead of taking the ring out for a week I just leave it in for the 4th week and put a new one in right away to skip periods (similar to what would happen with an IUD. anyone else have this issue ever? the light cramping is probably the worst part. And sometimes it'll seem like it stops and then it'll be like....psych! And start up again. I originally was using the birth control like you're supposed to but I took the ring out and no period, so my cycle was all screwed up so I figured to hell with it I'll just leave it in and see what happens. But almost a month long period?!?! this is ridiculous
