Has anyone tried nair?

Hi! I want to try this on my upper lip, but my mom said that the hair comes back like a mans facial hair, has that been true for any of you guys (my mom tried it a looooonnggg time ago, and thats how it was for her. But im sure nair has improved since then..right?)

Hair (no matter how it is removed) does not grow back thicker and darker. The shade and thickness of your hair is determined by genetics. It cannot magically change. 
When the hair grows back it can SEEM like it is darker or thicker, just because of how it grows out. But it isn't. It's a myth.

I have used it and it definitely didn't come back in like stubble. It just came back in the same way.

My mom uses it and doesn't have a problem. Make sure you don't use it after how many months it says though because it kind of burns your skin or you just get a reaction. Hope this helps

I've used it, and had a bad reaction...I would test a small spot on my arm or leg if I were you before I dove right in and put that ish on my face.
