So my boyfriend amd i have been together for 2 weeks, yesteeday we went to a karaoke bar, and had about 12 shots each, while we were dancing he told me he loves me, and has since our first date. I didnt know what to say so i laughed it off and told him he was drunk , he wasnt acting drunk, but after 12 shots you gotta be right? He kept telling me he loves me several other times, this morning when we woke up he told me he meant it. im not sure what to think, i really really like him and like can feel myself falling inlove but i dont know how to believe him especially because he was drunk last night when he said it he first time.

If he's telling you while he's sober he likely means it. Alcohol tends to give people no inhibitions so it was probably just easier to say it then

My husband told me he loved me before we started dating. I told him he probably loved me as a sister (because I was in denial) and he straight up told me he loved me more then a sister. I mean if you aren't comfortable with him saying that so soon just tell him "hey I'm cool if you say that but im not ready yet to say I love you so if it's cool with you I'm just not going to say it yet". If he loves you he'd understand and wait for you. I'd still give him the option to say it to you, just not expect you saying it back yet because this way he's still able to let out his love for you. You don't necessarily have to believe him right now, but when I was first with my boyfriend, in the weeks leading up to him asking me out, I kept saying I love you in different languages because I felt it so strongly for him but I didn't want to scare him off. We are together for nearly 4 years now and I never have once regretted telling him my feelings so early on. Some people just know and others need the time. I hope this helps

my husband told me he loved me for the first time when he was drunk. He was/is pretty shy sometimes. Just because he had some liquid courage doesnt mean he didn't mean it. especially if he said it to you when he was sober. That being said, my husband and I didn't tell each other that until about 4 months into dating. I'm not sure if you can really know someone enough to love them after two weeks.

You can tell him you don't feel that strongly yet just be nice about it and say it takes you a little longer than that. If he's okay with it then y'all can stay together until you are more okay with saying it.

My husband told me he loved me after 1 month of dating. A couple weeks before we were on a date and he said "I really want to tell you something but I know it's too soon." Granted we'd been talking a lot longer than just one month but when he said it for real the first time I knew he'd been holding it in and I was over the moon. We've been together 6 years.
