so I had gone out clubbing with some friends and was extremely intoxicated. so much to the point where I had huge gaps in my memory. I woke up and I was lying next to this guy who was a friend of a friend's. it was obvious from being naked and him being naked that we had had sex. I don't remember a single thing from it. I don't remember consenting or not consenting.

Oh knkw yourself better than anyone to say whether you genuinely would've wanted to have sex with him whether you was drunk or not. I personally know that i would never in the right mind consent to sex with someone I wasn't in a relationship with so i would count that as rape because either I was way too drunk to know what I was consenting to or I would've not consented at all. As someone else said, some people know when they get drunk they get horny and it would be like them to have sex while they were drunk because they wanted to. If you were that drunk you can't remember them it sounds like you was too drunk to consent, but only you can say whether you think it was rape. Also I know this won't help but I'm sorry this happened to you, it must be hard knowing things had happened that you have no memory of.

Kinda just depends what you want to think of it as. Personally if it were me, i know i get horny when i drink so i likely would have wanted it but i've never been drunk enough to not remember having sex
