what were you ladies at your 39 week check up and when did you go into labor?

just had my 39 week appt and I'm 60% effaced and over 1 cm dilated. my Dr said he wouldn't be surprised if we had this baby by the end of the week... what were you ladies at your 39 week check up and when did you go into labor (if it's already happened). Dr did a sweep for me and I had a NST.

I'm almost fuming that your doc told you that. It would be wonderful if he was right, but he's just instilled a whole heap of hope into you and it may not even happen this week?

I was 3+ dilated and 75% effaced at 39 weeks. Now 40 weeks and five days and still no labour. 😭

I went in at 39 and 4. I was 1 cm dilated and 75% effaced. I'm not 40 and 4 and totally annoyed that this child won't find his way to the exit. No end in sight. 😑

Yeah my doctor said at 40.2 that I was 3cm and should be any day. I ended up being induced at 41.2 haha

I went at 38+6 was 3 cm dilated and got a membrane sweep. Went into labor at 39 weeks exactly and had him when I was 39+1 at 2 am.

I'm 39w1d today and I just hit 2 cm dilated and over 60% effaced. I was 1 cm dilated 50% effaced for 3 weeks. This morning, I lost a huge chunk of my mucus plug, so I figured something had to have changed for that to happen. My doctor also swept my membranes, so hopefully labor start soon. 🤞🏾

I went in at 38 weeks and 4 days and was 2 cm and 70% effaced my next appointment is the 25th but I'm hoping I pop before then.

I'm closed and somewhere around 50-75% effaced at 39 weeks. Frustrating.

Last week at 38.5 weeks I was also 60% effaced and not even 1 cm dilated. Now I'm 39 + 2 and still nothing. I go in again in Wednesday - hoping my doc says similar things to yours like we will have a baby soon👶🏻 good luck!
