I had an anatomy scan today at 23 weeks and while the nurse said everything looked good, my baby boy has a "bright white spot" on his heart, or an Echogenic Intracardiac Focus (EIF). After googling it, it says having this doubles the chances of my baby having Down's syndrome :( I am devastated. Did anyone else have this show up in an ultrasound? I'm a nervous wreck and don't know what to do. My consult with the actual doctor isn't until Friday. Please help.
