Baby moving around in crib?

Question

My two month old moves so much in his crib, that I'll wake up in the middle of the night n his two legs will be coming out of the railing of the crib n he'll be sideways. Like how does he do it. Can it be the towels I put under the head of his mattress to elevate him?
Who else has this hAppen to you and how do you deal with it?

My girl does it. I just let her do her thing. she typically ends up at the foot of her crib, so i put her way up at the top since i know she will turn onto her side and then progressively work her way down. Such a wiggle worm. Also no, propping like that is dangerous. Get a mesh, breathable crib bumper if you must.

Is there a reason you elevate him? Unless you need to do that due to medical reasons or what not, he can sleep just fine flat because babies do move around a lot sometimes. It's like adults, we are active sleepers whether we know it or not. I move a lot and because I'm a light sleeper I notice my SO moves a lot. If you're worried about his legs, try the mesh thing that wraps around to keep limbs from going through. There's nothing wrong with an active sleeping baby!

My son does this but he always end up at a 45 degree angle in the far right corner so I put him at a slight angle in the bottom left corner when he goes to bed to correct for his inevitable migration. He still ends up towards the top but without the railings all up in his business. He also used to journey sideways but he wasn't long enough to hit the railing back then so it didn't matter.
