When did you/ when are you going to tell LO about baby?

Just got a BFP yesterday! I have a daughter who will be 5 in less than two months. I'm anxious to tell her because she has been asking for a baby for a while now. But yet I really want to wait until after first ultrasound( which won't be until 10-11 weeks here). Just don't want it to seem like an eternity for her, plus in case anything happens I don't want to have to explain it to her cause she won't understand!

I told my son right away but he was 8 months old and is now only 13 months old so he won't know what's going on until we bring his sister home and she doesn't leave hahaha

I intended to wait at least until finding out the sex but in the end I told them two days after my positive test. My pregnancies are just too hard and they were worried about how sick I was.

waiting to have our first scan (roughly 12 weeks) in the UK. once we have been and got a photo, we will then show her
